Dead to Me’s Third and Final Season Gets November Release Date at Netflix!

Dead to Me’s Third and Final Season Gets November Release Date at Netflix!

More than two years after its sophomore run dropped on Netflix, Dead to Me at last has a release date for its third and final season.

The dark comedy will drop its last batch of episodes on Thursday, Nov. 17, the streamer announced Saturday as part of its Tudum global fan event.

New episodes of Dead to Me were last released in May 2020, and the show was subsequently renewed in July of that year. But production on Season 3 was later delayed, due to both the coronavirus pandemic and star Christina Applegate’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis, which the actress shared on Twitter in August 2021.

‘Westworld’: James Marsden to Return as Teddy Flood in Season 4

‘Westworld’: James Marsden to Return as Teddy Flood in Season 4

Over two years since the Season 3 finale, ‘Westworld’ will finally return to the small screen on June 26.

A familiar face is returning to the hit HBO series Westworld for its fourth season. Series veteran James Marsden, who starred in the first and second season, is set to return for the fourth installment of the sci-fi television show. HBO announced the news at Austin’s ATX Television Festival, where Marsden made a surprise appearance on June 3 to promote the series’ upcoming season.

Since Westworld’s first episode in the fall of 2016, the show has enjoyed many years of successful streaming, earning over 50 Emmy nominations. The neo-western show follows a slew of characters in a futuristic world where everyday people can pay for the ultimate immersive experience inside a western amusement park with humanoid robots that are so technologically advanced, that they begin to develop ‘human’ characteristics like emotion, memory, and thought.

Marsden’s character, the android Teddy Flood, was a central figure in the show’s first season and a recurring character in its second season but was left out of the main plot in its third installment. The panel at the ATX Television Festival, including show creator Lisa Joy, gave no revealing details about the return of Marsden’s character to the main action. However, they did let fans in on a bit of information about what to expect from the sci-fi’s fourth season. Marsden is to be introduced to a new love interest in the upcoming return of the show, with Joy mentioning that she wanted to write a new character for Marsden’s Flood. The character’s previous love interest, Dolores Abernathy, was played by Evan Rachel Wood, whose portrayal won her the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Fans of the HBO series won’t have to wait long to see their favorite stars in action, as the new season kicks off in just a few weeks on June 26.

Dead to Me Season 3: Netflix Release Date

Dead to Me Season 3: Netflix Release Date

Dead to Me season 3, set to be the final season, is confirmed to be coming to Netflix in the fall of 2022. Filming has now officially wrapped so here’s an updated guide to what we know so far about Dead to Me season 3, including what to expect from the story, who’s appearing, where the show is in production, and our prediction as to when it’ll be streaming.

For those out of the loop, Dead to Me is a Netflix Original black-comedy series created by Liz Feldman (who signed an overall deal with Netflix off the back of season 2 of Dead to Me). The series has fast become one of the most-watched comedy series on Netflix, having amassed an audience of over 30 million worldwide for the first season. Dead to Me has also been a big pull for awards seasons too with previous seasons picking up 5 Primetime Emmys.

The soul of the series belongs to the chemistry between Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. On-screen together they have been electric, making for some truly hilarious comedy, and heart-wrenching drama.

After years of waiting, we’ve now got knowledge of a release window for season 3 of Dead to Me will be coming to Netflix and it was confirmed to be coming in Fall 2022. For those unaware, fall means that Dead to Me season 3 will release sometime between September 23rd and December 21st, 2022. The news came on the same day that Netflix announced a new show, No Good Deed, from Liz Feldman (the showrunner of Dead to Me). On January 14th, Christina Applegate did reply to a fan saying that season 3 will be coming soon but for the moment, we’ve still got no idea when the show will be returning.

When the Party Down revival was announced, fans were saddened to know that Lizzy Caplan wouldn’t return to play aspiring comedic actor and Henry’s on-and-off girlfriend, Casey.
